Shanghai has issued a new action plan to accelerate the development of next-generation intelligent manufacturing, with a strong focus on strengthening industrial cybersecurity capabilities.
The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization released the "Shanghai Action Plan for Accelerating the Development of Next-Generation Intelligent Manufacturing," which calls for solidifying industrial network security protections.
Under the plan, the city will carry out cybersecurity attack and defense drills as well as emergency response exercises to enhance its ability to handle cybersecurity incidents.
The plan also promotes the deployment of AI security products, such as security large models and security intelligent agents, in the manufacturing sector.
It aims to create 10 benchmark scenarios, including intelligent penetration testing and AI security operations centers, and to launch 20 cybersecurity products that deeply integrate large models, building a new "model-against-model" protection paradigm.
Furthermore, the plan seeks to drive more than 10% of high-quality industrial enterprises to implement classified and tiered management of industrial internet security.
It also calls for strengthening classified and tiered management of data and security protection, promoting more than 50 high-quality enterprises to carry out important data identification, tiered protection, and risk assessment work.
