Samsung Electronics Maintains Top Spot in Global Commercial Display Market for 17 Consecutive Years

Deep News03-19

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced on Thursday that it has maintained its leading position in the global commercial display market for the 17th consecutive year in 2025. This achievement is attributed to the company's continuous efforts to expand its product lineup.

The South Korean tech giant cited research data from industry tracker Omdia, stating that its commercial display products accounted for 35.2% of global sales in 2025. The company has held the top market position since it first reached the number one spot in 2009.

Samsung Electronics reported that its commercial display product sales, excluding consumer televisions, reached a record 2.5 million units in 2025.

The company's commercial display portfolio includes products such as smart signage and electronic paper solutions.

Samsung Electronics stated it will continue efforts to expand its market share in this sector and plans to launch the Samsung Space Digital Display this year. This display, with a thickness of just 52 millimeters, can present 3D content, offering viewers an "immersive visual experience."

The company also recently unveiled a 13-inch Samsung Color E-Paper display, which features an ultra-slim design with a thickness of only 17.9 millimeters and a weight of just 0.9 kilograms.

Additionally, the company announced plans to launch a new AI Studio application next month. This application is described as being "capable of easily creating signage-ready videos from a single product image."
