On the evening of October 30, the container vessel "Qing Yun He," carrying exhibits for the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), successfully docked at Shanghai's Waigaoqiao Port. The Waigaoqiao Border Checkpoint, under the Shanghai Immigration Inspection Corps, collaborated with multiple port authorities to launch a "green channel" for CIIE exhibits, ensuring their safe and timely arrival for exhibition setup.
The "Qing Yun He" departed from Yokohama, Japan, transporting various exhibits, including synthetic rubber and household goods. To enhance customs clearance efficiency, the Waigaoqiao Border Checkpoint coordinated with inspection agencies and port enterprises to establish a streamlined "green channel" covering the entire process—from transportation and customs clearance to unloading and transshipment. Measures such as "pre-arrival inspections and one-stop processing" were implemented to guarantee "zero-wait berthing and immediate operations upon arrival" for vessels carrying CIIE exhibits.
Nominated as one of the "Top Service Windows" for the 8th CIIE, the Waigaoqiao Border Checkpoint will strictly enforce eight expedited clearance measures introduced by the Shanghai Immigration Inspection Corps. Working alongside port authorities, it aims to ensure secure and efficient customs clearance for CIIE exhibits.
