January 26th "Wholesale Price Index for 200 Agricultural Products" Drops 0.07 Points from Last Friday

According to monitoring data from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the "Wholesale Price Index for 200 Agricultural Products" stood at 130.34 on January 26, a decrease of 0.07 points from last Friday, while the wholesale price index for the "Basket of Food" products was 133.26, down 0.08 points from last Friday.

As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price for pork in agricultural product markets was 18.65 yuan per kilogram, marking a 0.9% increase from last Friday; beef was priced at 66.23 yuan per kilogram, up 0.3%; mutton reached 63.95 yuan per kilogram, rising 1.3%; eggs were at 8.41 yuan per kilogram, increasing by 0.6%; and dressed chicken fell to 16.93 yuan per kilogram, down 2.6%.

The average price for 28 key monitored vegetable varieties was 5.61 yuan per kilogram, declining 1.1% from last Friday; the average price for 6 key monitored fruit varieties was 7.84 yuan per kilogram, down 0.5%.

Crucian carp was priced at 19.29 yuan per kilogram, dropping 0.6%; common carp rose to 13.86 yuan per kilogram, up 0.9%; silver carp fell to 10.05 yuan per kilogram, down 3.6%; and large hairtail was 42.30 yuan per kilogram, decreasing 0.3%.

Among the 46 key monitored varieties in domestic fresh agricultural product wholesale markets today, the top five items with the largest price increases compared to last Friday were large yellow croaker, Chinese cabbage, asparagus lettuce, mutton, and bananas, with increases of 2.3%, 2.2%, 1.4%, 1.3%, and 1.0% respectively; the top five items with the largest price decreases were Ya pears, silver carp, cauliflower, cucumbers, and spinach, with decreases of 4.1%, 3.6%, 3.1%, 3.0%, and 2.9% respectively.
