Hebei Airport Group Secures Eight Prestigious ACI International Honors

On February 24, the Airports Council International (ACI) unveiled the winners of the 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) awards. Hebei Airport Group, which operates Shijiazhuang Airport, Qinhuangdao Airport, and Zhangjiakou Airport, received a total of eight international awards, making it the airport group in China with the highest number of accolades in this round. Shijiazhuang Airport was named the "Best Airport" in the Asia-Pacific region for the 5-15 million passenger category for the fifth time. It also retained its titles as the "Most Accessible Airport" and "Cleanest Airport," while earning the new distinction of "Most Dedicated Airport Staff." Qinhuangdao Airport was awarded "Best Airport" and "Most Dedicated Airport Staff" in the under 2 million passenger category for the Asia-Pacific region. Zhangjiakou Airport received the "Most Dedicated Airport Staff" and "Cleanest Airport" awards in the same passenger category. The fact that all three airports were recognized for their dedicated staff highlights Hebei Airport Group's commitment to enhancing the business environment through superior service quality. With Shijiazhuang Airport as the core trunk hub, the group is focused on building a high-quality, well-connected airport network. Shijiazhuang Airport achieved a flight boarding bridge rate of 95.27% for the year, reduced domestic flight cutoff times to 28 minutes, and shortened the minimum connection time (MCT) for domestic transfer flights to 45 minutes, ranking among the top performers nationwide for multiple service indicators in its category. In 2025, passenger throughput at Shijiazhuang Airport exceeded 12 million, setting a new record since its opening, while transfer passenger volume reached 1.347 million, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%.
