Stock News08-13 09:56

CCTC (06951) shares surged more than 10% in early trading, reaching a record high of 133.2 Hong Kong dollars. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 9.33% at 131.2 Hong Kong dollars, with a trading volume of 124 million Hong Kong dollars.

On the news front, CCTC previously issued a profit alert, forecasting a net profit attributable to shareholders of between 1.794 billion and 2.041 billion yuan for the first half of 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 45% to 65%. The company's core net profit (excluding non-recurring items) is expected to be between 1.653 billion and 1.92 billion yuan, up 55% to 80% year-on-year. Calculations show that the company's second-quarter net profit attributable to shareholders increased by at least 27% quarter-on-quarter from a high base, breaking through the 10 billion yuan mark for a single quarter.

According to Shengang Securities, the demand for high-end MLCCs driven by AI is prompting leading Japanese and South Korean manufacturers to shift their production capacity toward high-end specifications. Coupled with the increasing penetration rate of intelligent driving, domestic manufacturers are expected to benefit from order spillovers and the replacement of domestic market share. Domestic manufacturers with mass production capabilities for high-capacitance, high-voltage, and automotive-grade MLCCs are expected to be the first to benefit. The interim results of leading domestic companies have shown a relatively good year-on-year growth rate. CCTC's MLCC product prices for some specifications have been restored to their original reasonable value, and both sales volume and sales revenue have seen a considerable year-on-year increase.
