On Friday, a number of semiconductor stocks exhibited notable strength during the trading session. Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.US), Qualcomm (QCOM.US), and Intel (INTC.US) all saw their share prices rise by more than 5%. KLA-Tencor (KLAC.US) also posted a solid gain, trading higher by more than 3%.
