China is scheduled to adjust its retail prices for refined oil products at 24:00 on June 18th. This adjustment is anticipated to deliver the first consecutive price drop of the year, with the reduction expected to be substantial.
Based on 80% of the 10-working-day statistical cycle for this pricing period, the current crude oil change rate has reached -4.54%, forecasting a price cut of 320 yuan per ton. When converted to a per-litre basis, this equates to a reduction of approximately 0.26 yuan.
Due to fluctuations in the average international crude oil price, the final reduction is projected to widen further. The actual extent of the decrease will depend on the performance of international oil prices during the final few working days of the cycle.
