Playmates Toys repurchases 0.42 million shares on 16 July, lifting YTD buyback to 22.85 million shares

Playmates Toys Limited reported that it bought back 420,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 16 July 2026. The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from HK$0.47 to HK$0.49, for a total consideration of HK$0.21 million.

Including this latest transaction, the company has repurchased 22.85 million shares since receiving shareholder authorisation on 22 May 2026, utilising 1.95% of the 1.17 billion shares approved under the mandate. All repurchased shares are intended for cancellation and have not yet been cancelled as of 16 July 2026.

Playmates Toys’ issued share capital stood unchanged at 1.14 billion shares on the reporting date. Under Hong Kong listing rules, the company is subject to a moratorium on new share issues or treasury share sales until 15 August 2026.
