China's Software Industry Revenue Climbs 10.9% Year-on-Year

Data released shows that in the first four months of this year, China's software business revenue reached 4.6686 trillion yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 10.9%.

During this period, revenue from software products amounted to 1.0464 trillion yuan, up 8.0% year-on-year, accounting for 22.4% of the total industry income. Within this category, revenue from basic software products was 59.8 billion yuan, rising 9.1% year-on-year, while revenue from industrial software products reached 99.8 billion yuan, also increasing by 9.1%.

Information technology services generated revenue of 3.1332 trillion yuan in the first four months, a 12.0% year-on-year growth, representing 67.1% of the total industry revenue. This segment included combined revenue of 534.4 billion yuan from cloud computing and big data services, which grew 12.6% year-on-year. Revenue from integrated circuit design was 142.8 billion yuan, surging 18.3% year-on-year. Additionally, revenue from e-commerce platform technical services stood at 363.3 billion yuan, up 7.8% year-on-year.
