The company reported a 38.4% year-over-year increase in net operating revenue to RMB974.9 million, while net profit attributable to shareholders rose 60.1% to RMB158.5 million. Waterdrop's insurance-related revenue grew 44.8% YoY, supported by AI tools like the "AI Medical Insurance Expert," which contributed to an 82% quarter-over-quarter increase in premiums.
CEO Peng Shen highlighted AI as a core driver of efficiency and innovation, with the company repurchasing approximately 58.1 million ADSs since 2021, reflecting confidence in its long-term strategy.
