HONG KONG — Apple concept stocks listed in Hong Kong rallied on Wednesday, led by a sharp gains in major suppliers. SUNNY OPTICAL surged over 10%, while ASMPT climbed more than 3%. LENS and AAC TECH also advanced, both tracking gains of over 2%.
The market rally follows reports that Apple plans to launch AirPods equipped with built-in cameras by late 2027. Positioned as Apple’s first wearable device centered around artificial intelligence, the next-generation AirPods will feature computer vision cameras as sensor components, providing real-time visual data to enhance Siri's capabilities.
A lineup of other highly anticipated products is expected to debut during the same period, including a next-generation foldable iPhone and a brand-new commemorative iPhone model.
