Goldman Sachs has released a research report, stating that ANTA SPORTS (02020) delivered a healthy second-quarter retail performance. This overall result aligns with the bank's previous communications with management and meets market expectations. During the period, the ANTA brand and FILA recorded low-single-digit growth in retail sales, while other brands grew by 25% to 30%. The pace of growth moderated compared to the first quarter, primarily influenced by the timing shift of the Lunar New Year holiday, the extended 618 promotional period, and unfavorable weather conditions.
However, Goldman Sachs pointed out that ANTA's performance continues to outpace its peers. The bank has raised its revenue forecasts for 2026 to 2028 by up to 1.5% and its profit forecasts by up to 1%. The target price is maintained at HK$108, with a reiterated "Buy" rating. Goldman Sachs expresses confidence in the group's capabilities in multi-brand operations and navigating through market cycles.
