Robot Sector Rallies for Two Straight Days as GEEKPLUS-W Stands Out for Its Scarcity Value

Stock News10-20

On October 19, A-share humanoid robot concept stocks bucked the broader market weakness, with the index diverging and more than 3,100 individual stocks declining, making it the most concentrated bullish direction of the day.

Unitree Technology surged as much as 19% intraday before closing up 16.15%, with its total market value returning above 200 billion yuan, while multiple stocks including Zhaowei Machinery & Electronics, Zhejiang Rongtai, Fulai New Materials, Riying Electronics, and Ningbo Dongli hit the daily limit.

On October 20, the robot sector's momentum continued, with Unitree Technology once again surging more than 10%, and Hong Kong robot stocks following suit, as GEEKPLUS-W (02590) rose more than 5% in early trading, while UBTECH (09880) and Yuejiang (02432) also gained.

The two-day sector rally was driven by a convergence of policy, industry data, and overseas tech giant moves within the same time window: the Ministry of Commerce and eight other departments issued a document explicitly promoting the implementation of embodied intelligence technology in commercial logistics and other scenarios, the State Administration for Market Regulation approved and released the first six national standards for humanoid robots, industrial robot output grew 29.1% year-on-year in the first three quarters, providing direct validation of industry fundamentals, and OpenAI simultaneously signaled expansion of its robotics team, further reinforcing the overseas industry narrative.

As the four threads of "policy direction, standard implementation, production validation, and overseas narrative reinforcement" converged at the same time, capital is flowing toward robot companies with reliable commercialization track records.

Why GEEKPLUS-W stands out in this rally

In this round of sector gains, the scarcity value of GEEKPLUS-W deserves attention: the company is one of the few robot listed companies engaged in embodied products, and is one of only three robot listed companies to surpass the 1 billion yuan mark in half-year revenue.

In 2026, GEEKPLUS-W's embodied intelligence release cadence is dense and clear: in February, the Gino 1 humanoid robot made its global debut, anchored to "actually doing work." In March, it released a case-to-person embodied intelligent picking solution. In May, its unmanned picking workstation completed benchmark pilot acceptance at Schneider Electric's Shanghai logistics center. In July, GEEKPLUS-W unveiled its "one core, dual engines" embodied layout strategy and the Gravity embodied intelligence framework at WAIC 2026.

At the WAIC 2026 site, GEEKPLUS-W demonstrated a real scenario of Gino 1 working in coordination with AMR mobile robots and specialized workstations—picking, box handling, and delivery in one seamless flow—making it one of the few embodied intelligence total solutions at the event capable of direct "on-the-job" deployment.

GEEKPLUS-W is a rare robot enterprise that possesses both technology and scenario understanding, and its embodied intelligence commercialization capability has been validated: it has already cooperated with multiple Forbes Global 500 companies. The complex warehousing environments of these giants not only hone GEEKPLUS-W's scenario understanding and large-scale delivery capabilities, but also accumulate massive real interaction data, forming GEEKPLUS-W's data flywheel: daily operational data continuously flows back to train embodied models, and the evolved models are then redeployed to the site.

The choice of leading enterprises is itself the strongest technical and commercial endorsement—the benchmark effect will significantly lower the decision-making threshold for subsequent customers, and these international enterprises' global business networks serve as a natural "global replication" expansion channel, anchoring a high starting point for GEEKPLUS-W's embodied intelligence business.

As one of the company's future core engines, GEEKPLUS-W has provided expectations for its embodied intelligence business: cumulative shipments of embodied intelligence products to exceed 10,000 units over the next three years, with expansion from warehousing into manufacturing, retail, and other industries.
