BRETON (01333) surged more than 4% before noon, with shares up 3.73% to HK$25 at the time of writing, recording a turnover of HK$34.28 million.
On November 21, BRETON held a launch event at its Wuhan factory for the "Driverless Pure Electric Mining Truck Rollout Ceremony and New Vehicle Debut." The event showcased the world's first truly dedicated driverless mining truck, the BRETON 9M145E, equipped with the company's self-developed E2E autonomous driving system. The new truck features a cabless design and is production-ready upon rollout, marking a new phase where autonomous driving transitions from "feasible" to "fully operational in production."
The BRETON 9M145E represents a comprehensive upgrade over its predecessor. By eliminating the driver's cabin entirely, it signifies a breakthrough in autonomous mining operations. The new model surpasses manual operations in efficiency, enhancing the commercial viability of driverless technology.
BRETON's in-house E2E autonomous driving system has undergone extensive field testing across multiple mining sites, ensuring safe and stable performance throughout loading, transportation, and unloading processes. Its efficiency matches or exceeds manual operations while significantly reducing operational costs.
