Scholar Education acquires 200,000 shares under award scheme at HK$1.69 average

Scholar Education Group disclosed that the trustee of its share award scheme repurchased 200,000 shares on 24 April 2026 via the open market.

• Transaction value and pricing: The shares were bought at an average price of HK$1.69, translating to a total consideration of approximately HK$0.34 million, excluding transaction costs.

• Proportion of capital: The purchase represents about 0.03% of the company’s issued share capital.

• Trustee’s cumulative position: Following the latest transaction, the trustee now holds 9.60 million shares, equivalent to 1.43% of the total shares outstanding.

Management noted the current market price significantly undervalues the company’s fundamentals and confirmed that share purchases for the award scheme will continue to be considered in line with market conditions.
