INSILICO (03696) saw its shares rise more than 5%. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 4.28% to HK$47.8, with a turnover of HK$26.38 million. The move follows recent company announcements. On May 21, according to an update on INSILICO's official social media, the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement (MoU) with Saudi Aramco during the 2023 LEAP technology conference. The partnership aims to empower AI-driven sustainable development and anti-aging research. Specifically for the design of Nobel Prize-winning Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) materials, INSILICO and Saudi Aramco collaborated to build a streamlined AI screening and validation system named Sanity Pipeline. This system is designed to enhance the speed and precision of MOFs research and development. Related findings have recently been published on ChemRxiv. The Sanity Pipeline integrates efficient pre-screening with in-depth validation. Its core models were jointly developed by both parties, including tools like LibCIF for efficient MOF decomposition and structural analysis, and the OxiChecker detector for identifying oxidation state anomalies.
