Nissan Motor, Uber Technologies, and British startup Wayve announced on Thursday that they will collaborate to develop robotaxis. The companies stated that they will launch a pilot project in Tokyo by the end of 2026, planning to offer Nissan Leaf electric vehicles equipped with Wayve's technology to users through Uber.
