Geely's new energy heavy-duty truck brand, Remote, has marked a significant delivery milestone and secured substantial new orders in Handan.
A batch delivery and product showcase event for Geely Remote new energy heavy-duty trucks was held on July 10 at the factory in the Handan Economic and Technological Development Zone. The event featured a comprehensive live-streamed product presentation, highlighting the competitive strengths of the vehicles.
At the event, 100 Remote pure electric tractor units equipped with 440kWh batteries were officially delivered to Handan Hanyang Transportation Co., Ltd. This model features a mature electric drive system and offers stable operational performance with significant lifecycle cost advantages. It is suitable for various high-frequency operation scenarios such as mining areas, steel plants, coal and aggregate transport, and inter-city short-haul heavy loads, making it one of the more widely recognized new energy heavy-duty truck models in the North China market.
The event also included a centralized signing ceremony. Multiple companies, including Handan Hanyang Transportation, Wu'an Jieshun Transportation, Shexian Hengshuo Auto Trading, and Wu'an Jinchi Land Transport Logistics, signed agreements on-site, resulting in a total order volume of 220 units.
This event leveraged the local industrial advantages of Geely's Remote commercial vehicle division. By integrating a new industrial product live-streaming model, it effectively connected production with sales, achieving both deliveries and new order signings.
Moving forward, the Handan Economic and Technological Development Zone plans to further expand the large-scale adoption of new energy commercial vehicles in areas like logistics, transportation, and urban distribution. The aim is to continuously improve the regional green, low-carbon transportation system and contribute to local low-carbon development initiatives.
