Tencent has officially launched its 2025 campus recruitment drive, targeting university graduates who will complete their studies between January 2025 and December 2026. The company is opening positions across five major categories: technology, product, design, marketing, and operations.
As AI becomes increasingly embedded in various business operations, this year's campus recruitment at Tencent features two significant updates: a transformation of job roles and an evolution of talent criteria. A range of new AI-native positions have been introduced across technology, product, and design fields, including AI full-stack engineers, agent development engineers, AI application engineers, AI algorithm engineers, AI product managers, and AIGC art creators. Many existing roles are also being reshaped by AI to optimize production workflows and technical architectures, exploring new possibilities for AI in business applications.
Tencent's campus recruitment talent standard, which emphasizes "having dreams, being eager to learn, and being a performer," has also been updated with new interpretations. The company now seeks young individuals who can proactively identify and define problems, evaluate and validate AI outputs, and translate their capabilities into tangible results. Tencent has reiterated its commitment to valuing the potential of individuals and providing long-term developmental support, offering real-world business scenarios and sufficient resources to help young professionals grow at the forefront of technology.
Tencent recruitment officials have reminded applicants that the only official resume submission platform is the Tencent campus recruitment website. Candidates can also apply through a "bo le ma" (talent referral code) obtained from current Tencent employees or official campus ambassadors. Applicants are cautioned against any external paid referral services, paid internships, or recruitment scams.
