CHERY AUTO (HKEX: 09973) has announced that its board has been notified by Mr. Yin Tongyue (Chairman), Mr. Zhang Guozhong (Executive Director), and senior management members Mr. Gao Xinhua, Mr. Zhang Guibing, Mr. Qi Shilong, and Mr. Li Xueyong that they have each purchased the company's H-shares via on-market transactions on July 9, 2026.

Based on the information they provided, the details of the purchases are as follows: (i) Mr. Yin Tongyue bought 395,000 H-shares at an average price of HK$25.958 per share; (ii) Mr. Zhang Guozhong bought 46,000 H-shares at an average price of HK$25.862 per share; (iii) Mr. Gao Xinhua bought 45,200 H-shares at an average price of HK$26.106 per share; (iv) Mr. Zhang Guibing bought 49,200 H-shares at an average price of HK$25.876 per share; (v) Mr. Qi Shilong bought 50,000 H-shares at an average price of HK$25.834 per share; and (vi) Mr. Li Xueyong bought 70,000 H-shares at an average price of HK$25.978 per share.

According to the company's available information and to the board's knowledge, following these share purchases and as of the date of this announcement, the company continues to maintain a sufficient public float of its issued shares.

The board views these purchase transactions as a demonstration of the strong and continued confidence of the relevant individuals in the group's future prospects and growth potential.
