On December 15, BANKCOMM (Bank of Communications) announced that Tang Shuo has submitted a written resignation report to the bank's board of directors, stepping down from his position as Business Director (Corporate and Institutional Business) effective December 15, 2025, due to work transfer arrangements. Tang confirmed no disagreements with the board or senior management and stated there are no matters requiring notification to shareholders or creditors related to his resignation.
Tang Shuo joined BANKCOMM in 2001 and served for 24 consecutive years, holding key roles including President of the Beijing Branch, Guangdong Branch, and Jiangxi Branch (acting as President), as well as Deputy President and Assistant President of the Beijing Branch. He also served as Deputy General Manager of the Corporate & Institutional Business Department (Investment Banking Department) at the headquarters.
Earlier on December 5, it was reported that Tang Shuo, then BUSINESS DIRECTOR of BANKCOMM, had been appointed as a member of the Communist Party Committee at China Construction Bank (CCB). Upon completing necessary procedures, he is expected to assume the role of Vice President at CCB.
