E&P Global Holdings Limited released its 10th Environmental, Social and Governance Report for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, detailing an expanded reporting boundary, updated climate governance, and new performance targets to 2031.
Environmental Performance and Targets • Total greenhouse-gas emissions jumped to 185.12 million tCO₂e (2025: 2.59 tCO₂e) after the company incorporated three Scope 3 categories—waste, employee commuting and use of sold products—into its inventory for the first time. • Direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) emissions rose to 1.32 tCO₂e and 5.13 tCO₂e respectively, tracking higher fuel and electricity use as trading activity expanded. • Air-pollutant releases remained small, with NOx at 487.19 g, SOx at 7.20 g and PM at 35.87 g. • Non-hazardous waste fell 42 % year on year to 0.02 t, equivalent to 0.001 t per employee; no hazardous waste was generated. • Energy consumption totalled 14.22 MWh (2025: 6.10 MWh), while water use reached 34.19 m³. • Using 2021 as a baseline, E&P Global targets a 10 % reduction by 2031 in air-pollutant emissions, Scope 1-2 GHG emissions and non-hazardous waste. For resources, the goal is a 10 % cut in energy use by 2030 (vs 2021) and in water use by 2030 (vs 2022).
Climate Governance and Risk Management • The board assumes ultimate responsibility for climate strategy, supported by senior management for day-to-day execution. • Scenario analysis based on IPCC SSP1-2.6 and SSP5-8.5 pathways identified six key risks—ranging from extreme weather to stricter carbon regulation—and four opportunities, such as energy efficiency and lower-carbon products. • Although no climate-specific capex was made during the year, the company is evaluating future resource allocations and may introduce an internal carbon pricing mechanism.
Social Metrics • Headcount rose to 18 from 15, split 56 % male and 44 % female; 100 % are full-time staff. • Employee turnover climbed to 60 %, affected by the small base; Korea recorded a 140 % turnover due to multiple hires and departures within the period. • Average training hours were 4.6 per employee, covering 17 % of staff; senior management received 20.8 hours each. • No work-related fatalities, injuries or lost days were reported for the third consecutive year.
Supply Chain Oversight • The group engaged 18 suppliers—15 in Korea, two in Hong Kong and one in mainland China—and applies environmental and social criteria in vendor selection. • Regular assessments are conducted to ensure compliance with anti-corruption, environmental and labour standards.
Compliance and Ethics • The report confirms no breaches of environmental, labour, health-and-safety or anti-corruption regulations during the year, and no product recalls or data-privacy incidents.
Strategic Developments • The 2026 report includes the company’s new coal-trading activity in mainland China, extending the ESG boundary to cover operations representing approximately 100 % of revenue and headcount. • Coal mining projects in Russia remained in the development stage, with no commercial production during the period.
E&P Global plans to review progress toward its 2030–2031 environmental targets regularly and will consider a formal climate transition plan as data quality and regulatory requirements evolve.
