Scholar Education Group reported that the trustee of its Share Award Scheme acquired 297,000 shares on 27 October 2026 via the open market at an average price of HK$0.71 per share. The transaction cost amounted to approximately HK$0.21 million and represents about 0.044 % of the company’s outstanding shares.
Following the purchase, the trustee’s holdings rose to 53.44 million shares, equivalent to 7.93 % of total shares in issue.
The board reiterated that the current market price does not reflect the company’s intrinsic value and indicated that additional acquisitions may be executed when conditions are deemed favorable.
