On November 17, the province signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CHINA TELECOM Group. Provincial Party Secretary Xin Changxing and Governor Liu Xiaotao met with CHINA TELECOM Chairman Ke Ruiwen and his delegation.
Xin Changxing and Liu Xiaotao expressed gratitude for CHINA TELECOM's long-standing support for Jiangsu's development. Xin emphasized that the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee has outlined strategic plans for advancing the Digital China initiative. Jiangsu is actively seizing opportunities in digitalization, networking, and intelligent development, implementing the "AI+" initiative to deepen the integration of the real economy and the digital economy, fostering new growth drivers and advantages.
He hoped that the new strategic agreement would further strengthen collaboration in areas such as new infrastructure development, emerging and future industries, public services, and social governance, jointly contributing to the Digital China initiative.
Ke Ruiwen noted that Jiangsu boasts a robust industrial foundation and abundant application scenarios, leading in digital economy development. CHINA TELECOM will leverage its strengths, advance the "Smart Cloud Jiangsu" initiative, and collaborate closely with research institutions and industry partners to expand cooperation with Jiangsu for mutual benefit.
Provincial officials Chu Yonghong and Zhao Yan, along with CHINA TELECOM Vice President Luan Xiaowei, attended related events.
