On June 9th, the Laibin Municipal People's Government and China Mobile Guangxi Company signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement for the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, aiming to strengthen comprehensive and in-depth collaboration to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
Mayor Liao Heming and China Mobile Guangxi Company's Party Committee Secretary, Chairman, and General Manager Wang Yiqiu attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches.
Liao Heming, on behalf of the municipal party committee and government, thanked China Mobile Guangxi Company for its long-term strong support to Laibin's economic and social development. He stated that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Laibin's economic aggregate crossed three hundred-billion-yuan thresholds, achieving the trillion-yuan target one year ahead of schedule. In the first quarter of this year, the city's GDP grew by 5.4%, exceeding the target by 0.4 percentage points. The added value of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries increased by 7.1%, 5.1%, and 5.3% respectively, with multiple indicators ranking first in the region for growth rate.
Currently, the city is fully committed to building a "Sweet Laibin" and accelerating the "Rise of Central Guangxi," speeding up the construction of a modern industrial system led by the "9+3" industries, and deeply advancing the "Artificial Intelligence+" initiative. This requires a robust digital foundation, cutting-edge technological support, and collaboration with high-quality ecosystem partners.
Laibin City and China Mobile Guangxi Company have a solid foundation for cooperation. It is hoped that both sides will deepen practical collaboration in areas such as upgrading digital infrastructure, deepening the integration and application of "AI+," promoting industrial digital and intelligent transformation, and jointly building a digital innovation ecosystem. The goal is to deeply integrate digital technology with economic and social development, creating a benchmark for regional digital transformation cooperation.
