Bank of China has released its first-quarter report for 2026. According to the data, the bank's operating revenue for the first quarter of 2026 reached 178.822 billion yuan, an increase of 8.44% compared to the same period last year. Pre-tax profit was 74.764 billion yuan, up 1.93% year-on-year. After-tax profit amounted to 60.959 billion yuan, rising 3.95% from a year earlier. Net profit attributable to the bank's equity shareholders was 56.631 billion yuan, marking a 4.17% growth. Net cash flow generated from operating activities totaled 196.208 billion yuan. Basic and diluted earnings per share were 0.18 yuan, a decline of 4.68%. The weighted average return on equity stood at 8.46%, down by 0.63 percentage points.
