Midday Review of A-Shares: ChiNext Index Falls 1.46%, Computing Power Rental Concepts Surge

The market experienced a volatile and declining morning session, with the Shanghai Composite Index turning negative again and the ChiNext Index dropping over 1%. A clear divergence was observed between the yellow and white lines. By the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.17%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.68%, and the ChiNext Index declined 1.46%.

The combined turnover for the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets in the morning session reached 1.59 trillion yuan, a decrease of 53 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. Market hotspots rotated rapidly, with over 2,900 stocks declining across the board.

Sector-wise, computing power rental concepts saw a collective surge. Huasheng Tiancheng achieved three limit-up sessions within five days, while Talkweb Information, Litong Electronics, and Chengdi Xiangjiang all hit the daily upside limit. The non-ferrous metals sector remained active, with Zhangyuan Tungsten recording five limit-ups in seven days. Xianglu Tungsten and China Rare Metals also reached the daily limit. The AI programming concept strengthened, with both Jin Xiandai and Puyuan Information rising by the 20% limit. The space photovoltaic concept rebounded from fluctuations, with Junda Shares hitting the limit-up.

On the downside, the electronic fabric concept continued to adjust, with Honghe Technology falling by the daily limit.

In individual stock movements, New Easun led with a midday turnover exceeding 13.2 billion yuan. Turnover for Huasheng Tiancheng, Zhongji Xuchuang, and Shenghong Technology each surpassed 10 billion yuan.
