Alibaba Cloud has officially entered into a strategic partnership with the 18th National College Advertising Art Competition, becoming its exclusive AI strategic partner. Tongyi Wanxiang will serve as the competition's official AI creation platform, providing participants with various visual generation capabilities. This marks the first time this national-level liberal arts competition has incorporated an AI visual generation model for full-process creative support.
The National College Advertising Art Competition is a top-tier academic contest overseen by the Higher Education Department of China's Ministry of Education and coordinated by the Journalism and Communication Teaching Steering Committee. Since its inception in 2005, the event has been held 17 times, with the 18th edition expected to engage over 1.5 million students and faculty from more than 1,800 universities nationwide, wielding significant influence in liberal arts, art design, and advertising communication.
As the exclusive AI strategic partner, Alibaba Cloud will provide comprehensive AI creation support, including: - **Computing Power Support**: Through its university support program "Cloud for Talent," Alibaba Cloud will allocate computing resources worth 10 million yuan, accessible via Alibaba Cloud Bailian and PAI-ArtLab for leveraging Tongyi Wanxiang's visual generation model. - **AI Creation Platform**: Tongyi Wanxiang will offer capabilities such as text-to-image, text-to-video, image-to-video, and image editing. - **Training & Case Studies**: AI creation training courses and industry application cases will be made available to help participants systematically master intelligent creation skills, fostering deeper integration of AI with art design and advertising.
