Johnson Electric Reports Fiscal Year Results with Decreased Net Profit

Johnson Electric Holdings (00179) announced its annual financial results for the period ending March 31, 2026. The company reported revenue of $3.65 billion, representing a marginal increase of 0.1% compared to the previous year. Gross profit amounted to $840 million, accounting for 23.0% of revenue, which remained largely consistent with the prior year's figure of $843 million or 23.1% of revenue. Net profit attributable to shareholders was $202 million, a decline of 23% year-over-year. Diluted earnings per share stood at 21.59 cents. The board has proposed a final dividend of 44 Hong Kong cents per share.

According to the announcement, the group's gross profit of $840 million, representing 23.0% of sales, remained essentially flat compared to the previous fiscal year. A slight increase in production personnel costs, depreciation, and raw material costs was offset by savings in other production expenses and direct labor costs.
