Song Gang formerly worked at Tesla. He joined Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory in 2018, serving successively as Senior Director of Manufacturing, Vice President of Manufacturing, and General Manager of the Shanghai factory. He also led the establishment of the Tesla Shanghai Megapack factory. In 2024, he joined Envision Energy as Senior Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain.
