Bank of Changsha Completes Issuance of RMB 8 Billion Tier-2 Capital Bonds

On December 1, Bank of Changsha announced the successful issuance of its 2025 Tier-2 capital bonds in the national interbank bond market. The issuance, approved by the bank's second interim shareholders' meeting in 2024, received regulatory clearance from the Hunan office of the National Financial Regulatory Administration and the People's Bank of China.

The bonds, with a total value of RMB 8 billion, were priced on November 27, 2025, and settled on December 1, 2025. Structured as 10-year fixed-rate instruments, they carry a coupon rate of 2.36% and include an issuer call option exercisable at the end of the fifth year. Proceeds will be used to supplement the bank's Tier-2 capital in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory approvals.
