Feitian Moutai Leads Gains as Total Value of Major White Liquor Products Stops Falling and Edges Up

Deep News07-31

Data collected over the past 24 hours by Sina Finance's "Liquor Price Reference" shows that the total terminal retail value of major white liquor products in the Chinese market stabilized at a low level on July 31. If one bottle of each major product were packaged and sold together, the total price would be 9,872 yuan today, a slight increase of 1 yuan from yesterday, halting a two-day decline and marking a slight uptick, though the low-level consolidation pattern persists.

Across the market, terminal trading sentiment in the liquor sector over the past day has stabilized at a low level, with both bulls and bears once again in a stalemate. Among the 11 major white liquor products today, four rose, six fell, and one remained flat, with losers outnumbering gainers, but the total increase of the rising products slightly outweighed the declines.

On the upside, Feitian Moutai and Qinghua Fen 20 were the top gainers, each rising by 5 yuan per bottle. For Feitian Moutai, the national average retail price turned higher again after a slight decline yesterday, continuing its high-level consolidation since the price hike on July 18. Qinghua Fen 20, meanwhile, broke its two-day flat streak, significantly recovering from near a one-month low and reclaiming the 370 yuan mark. Guojiao 1573 rose by 3 yuan per bottle, rebounding from its lowest level since February 2 of this year, which was set yesterday. Qinghua Lang edged up by 1 yuan per bottle, experiencing a technical rebound after a sharp decline the previous day.

On the downside, Xijiu Junpin led the declines, falling by 3 yuan per bottle, marking its third consecutive drop and retreating to the 630 yuan level. Jingpin Moutai, Wuliangye Puwu 8th Generation, Wuliangye 1618, Yanghe Dream Blue M6+, and Gujing Gong Gu 20 all fell by 2 yuan per bottle. Jingpin Moutai ended its two-day winning streak, continuing to oscillate below the 2,400 yuan mark. Wuliangye Puwu 8th Generation extended its losing streak to four days, once again tying the lowest price record since the "Liquor Price Reference" began tracking in November last year. Wuliangye 1618 fell back below the 820 yuan threshold. Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ ended its three-day flat run, losing the key support level of 600 yuan. Gujing Gong Gu 20 declined for three consecutive days. Shuijing Jiannanchun remained unchanged from yesterday, holding steady at 403 yuan per bottle for two consecutive days.

The "Liquor Price Reference" daily data is sourced from approximately 200 collection points distributed across major regions nationwide, including but not limited to designated dealers, social dealers, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sampling data reflects the actual transaction terminal retail prices processed at these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide an objective, scientific, and fully traceable dataset on the market prices of major white liquor products.

Since the official i-Moutai platform began selling Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on New Year's Day (raised to 1,539 yuan on March 31 and further to 1,639 yuan on July 18), and started selling Jingpin Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle on January 9 (raised to 2,359 yuan on May 16), the magnetic influence of this new channel on the terminal retail average prices of both products has gradually become apparent. The daily liquor prices published by the "Liquor Price Reference" follow a calculation rule weighted by actual transaction volume, and we have incorporated quantifiable prices from this channel into the terminal retail price calculations for both products.

In other significant news for the white liquor industry, Kweichow Moutai Co.,Ltd.
