Regulator Approves Hao Guangmin as Chairman of CNPC's Captive Insurer

The Xinjiang Financial Regulatory Authority has officially approved Hao Guangmin's appointment as Chairman of CNPC Captive Insurance Company Limited.

Hao Guangmin, born in April 1972, holds the title of Senior Accountant and brings extensive experience within the China National Petroleum Corporation system.

He began his career in 1995 and has held pivotal roles including Deputy Director and Deputy Chief Accountant of the Funds and Budget Division within CNPC's Finance and Assets Department. In 2014, he was promoted to Deputy Chief Accountant of the group's Finance Department, subsequently serving as a member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant at China Huayou Group Corporation in 2016. By January 2022, he assumed the role of Vice President at CNPC Capital Co., Ltd.

After stepping down from the Vice President position in April 2024 for work-related reasons, Hao Guangmin transitioned to the role of Party Committee Secretary at CNPC Captive Insurance Company in May. His qualifications as a director were sanctioned by the Xinjiang regulatory body in October of the same year, preceding his recent appointment as Chairman.
