WeRide Inc. (NASDAQ: WRD.US, HKEX: 00800), a leading global autonomous driving technology company, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2026 on May 13th. For the quarter, the company's total revenue reached 114 million yuan, representing a year-over-year increase of 58%. Benefiting from improved operational efficiency and optimized resource allocation, the company's operating loss further narrowed. Gross profit grew by 56% year-over-year to 39.6 million yuan, with a gross margin of 35%, maintaining a leading position in the industry.
The commercialization scale of Robotaxi continues to expand. In the first quarter, the number of registered Robotaxi users in China for WeRide was approximately double that of the same period last year. The average daily orders per vehicle domestically exceeded 17, rising to 28 during peak periods. Currently, WeRide's global Robotaxi fleet size is about 1,300 vehicles, with plans to deploy 200,000 autonomous vehicles, including Robotaxis, over the next five years.
The WRD 3.0 L2++ one-stage end-to-end ADAS solution is accelerating its mass production and deployment, having secured nearly 30 vehicle model design wins. The first mass-produced passenger vehicle developed in collaboration with GAC Aion, the Aion N60, has officially launched. Furthermore, vehicle models equipped with WRD 3.0 have achieved an unprecedented "four consecutive championships" in China's Intelligent Driving Competitions, strongly demonstrating the industry-leading position of the company's assisted driving technology.
As the only company globally to achieve scaled commercial application of both L4 fully driverless technology and L2++ assisted driving, WeRide will continue to leverage its technological advantages to advance the commercialization of autonomous driving across diverse global scenarios.
