XPENG-W's stock surged 5.06% during intraday trading on Friday, reflecting strong investor confidence in the company's latest advancements in autonomous driving technology.
The automaker recently obtained an L3 autonomous driving road test license in Guangzhou, enabling conditional tests on intelligent connected vehicle highways. Analysts highlight XPENG's leadership in intelligent driving, supported by its self-developed Turing chip and cloud-based foundational models. The company plans to mass-produce its second-generation VLA with L4 capability by Q1 2026 and launch an L4-capable Robotaxi model the same year.
XPENG has fully embraced an AI-driven strategy, aiming to transform into a global AI-powered smart mobility tech firm. Its "three-in-one" embodied intelligence ecosystem, covering vehicles, robots, and flying cars, has already garnered significant interest, with 7,000 pre-orders for its "Land Aircraft Carrier" flying car.
