Following the May Day holiday, the sales performance report for the home appliance industry has been released. HAIER SMARTHOME has taken the lead through its dual focus on premium and smart product lines. The company not only achieved top rankings across multiple sales channels and product categories but also secured a significant number of large orders for integrated smart home packages, firmly establishing its leading position in the industry during the holiday appliance renewal boom.
From a comprehensive channel perspective: On the Tmall platform, HAIER SMARTHOME's retail sales across all its brands showed steady growth, with its market share rising to the top spot in the industry. Its shares in refrigerators/freezers and washing machines remained firmly in first place. On the JD.com platform, the momentum of its core categories continued to strengthen, securing the top market share in multiple categories including refrigerators/freezers, washing machines, electric water heaters, gas water heaters, and water purifiers. On the Suning platform, retail performance outperformed the overall market, with leading shares in categories like refrigerators/freezers and washing machines. On the Douyin (TikTok) platform, premium retail sales experienced high-speed growth, achieving the number one share in categories such as refrigerators/freezers, electric water heaters, and gas water heaters. On the Pinduoduo platform, market share steadily climbed, securing the top position for categories including refrigerators/freezers, washing machines, and electric water heaters.
Concurrently, HAIER SMARTHOME's exclusive stores nationwide organized over 2,000 promotional activities, resulting in significant growth in both the proportion of complete home solution purchases and the share of premium products.
Regarding integrated smart packages, during the May Day period, the proportion of Casarte (a premium sub-brand) package sales reached 36%, a 3-percentage-point increase year-over-year. The single largest package purchase amounted to 390,000 yuan, with promoted series like "Lan Guang" and "Zhi Jing" becoming phenomenal bestsellers. Package sales under the main HAIER brand were also impressive, with package sales increasing by 45% and premium packages growing by 49%.
In the smart home segment, sales of connected appliances increased by 58.3%, and sales of whole-home smart products rose by 23%. One customer purchased a comprehensive 160,000-yuan whole-home smart package, demonstrating market recognition for HAIER SMARTHOME's premium integrated solutions and smart home offerings.
Furthermore, HAIER SMARTHOME continues to advance its O2O new retail transformation, deepening its omni-channel TC (Touchpoint & Conversion) model, improving the efficiency of integrated delivery and installation services, and consistently optimizing the user experience.
