From September 24 to October 7, DiDi Global Inc. is rolling out close to 600 million yuan in driver subsidies across more than 300 cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Handan, Qiqihar, and Panjin, in appreciation for their commitment during the holiday stretch.
Commission-free cards are available in nearly 200 cities, where the full passenger fare goes directly to the driver. More than 120 cities introduce commission reduction strategies, with cards available from as little as 0.01 yuan. By inviting friends to help or purchasing for 0.1 yuan, drivers can unlock flow acceleration cards, boosting earnings by up to 50% with a maximum increase of 15 yuan per trip. Several cities also feature tiered trip completion bonuses, allowing drivers to earn up to 140 yuan extra per day during the holidays.
In some locations, the Mid-Autumn Worry-Free Package is introduced, ensuring compensation for time spent in traffic or on empty runs. Additionally, drivers who hit the road during peak hours on September 24, 25, 30, and October 1 can earn a one-time score bonus of up to 0.9 points for trip allocation.
DiDi Global Inc. is also extending extra perks for carpooling services in select cities and periods, including dedicated completion bonuses and flow acceleration cards.
Taxi drivers are not left out, with an array of rewards and safeguards such as free service fee cards, check-in bonuses, completion rewards, pick-up assurance cards, no-show protection, fare advance cards, and trip completion lotteries—all designed to help drivers maximize both trip volume and income over the holiday.

For the Mid-Autumn and National Day period, DiDi Global Inc. will also pilot a holiday driver service fee in some cities during peak travel windows. This fee, paid by the passenger and passed directly to the driver, ensures that those on duty during the holidays can earn a better income for their efforts.
Over 200,000 Mooncake Gift Boxes Deliver Warmth and Best Wishes
This year, DiDi Global Inc. continues to widen its online welfare coverage to reach more drivers with platform care. Starting September 8, drivers with L4 status or above across more than 40 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Foshan, can redeem mooncake gift boxes free of charge through the driver app.
Each box contains an assortment of mooncake flavors along with a small safety mirror featuring hand-drawn art by drivers' children and a scented card displaying scenic photos captured by drivers during their shifts. These gifts carry a message of care from every corner of the country, spreading heartfelt warmth and blessings.
In over 50 cities nationwide, the platform is also handing out Mid-Autumn mooncake gift boxes to chauffeur, light-ride, and luxury car drivers as a token of gratitude for their service in safeguarding passengers' premium travel experiences.
In Chengdu, DiDi Global Inc. chauffeur teams are organizing festive activities like lantern riddles and jade rabbit ring toss games. In Shenzhen, a special care event brings chauffeur drivers and their families together for a group visit to the natural history museum, marking a memorable collective Mid-Autumn family day.
Elsewhere, in Fujian cities like Fuzhou and Quanzhou, DiDi Global Inc. chauffeur services are hosting traditional regional festivities such as "bo bing" dice games.

Starting September 21, DiDi Global Inc. is joining forces with auto care service platforms in 12 cities, including Tianjin and Nanjing, to launch the "Save More Plan" for maintenance support. Drivers can grab limited free car wash vouchers and enjoy exclusive deals on parts starting as low as 9.9 yuan.
Beyond the existing KFC driver meal initiative, the platform has recently rolled out a partnership with Dicos in Nanjing to offer subsidized driver meal plans. Drivers can enjoy a full meal for just 15.9 yuan or 19.9 yuan, and on-site giveaways include 2,000 complimentary meals. These exclusive discounted meal deals are set to expand to more cities nationwide, delivering the tangible benefit of a good meal to drivers everywhere.
