On December 18, China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (CEEC) responded to investor inquiries on an interactive platform, stating that the company is engaged in fourth-generation nuclear technologies, including thorium-based molten salt reactors. CEEC has conducted research on key technologies for conventional islands in thorium-based molten salt reactors, formulated technical solutions for conventional islands, and undertaken feasibility studies for small modular thorium-based molten salt reactor research facility projects.
