CHINA EAST AIR (00670) Reports 10.35% YoY Increase in November Passenger Traffic

CHINA EAST AIR (00670) announced that in November 2025, its passenger capacity (measured in available seat kilometers) rose by 6.51% year-on-year, while passenger traffic (measured in revenue passenger kilometers) increased by 10.35% YoY. The passenger load factor reached 87.37%, up 3.04 percentage points YoY. Cargo and mail traffic (measured in cargo and mail ton kilometers) also grew by 13.30% YoY during the same period.

In November 2025, the company expanded its domestic and international/regional route network. Domestically, it launched new routes such as Guiyang-Jieyang Chaoshan, Nanchang-Yangzhou, and Ningbo-Xishuangbanna. It also resumed flights on routes including Shanghai Pudong-Hangzhou, Hefei-Datong, Hefei-Shenyang, and Ningbo-Changbai Mountain. Additionally, it increased flight frequency on routes like Beijing Daxing-Harbin, Beijing Daxing-Xishuangbanna, Kunming-Chongqing, Tianjin-Lanzhou, and Nanjing-Jieyang Chaoshan.

For international and regional markets, the company introduced new routes such as Beijing Daxing-Muscat and resumed flights on routes like Shanghai Pudong-New Delhi. It also increased frequency on routes including Shanghai Pudong-Melbourne, Shanghai Pudong-Phuket, Shanghai Pudong-Brisbane, Nanjing-Hong Kong, Kunming-Vientiane, and Kunming-Mandalay.

In November 2025, CHINA EAST AIR added five aircraft to its fleet, comprising two A321NEOs, two C919s, and one C909, while retiring two passenger aircraft—one A320 and one B737-800. As of the end of November 2025, the company operated a total of 825 aircraft.
