The Philippine peso has tumbled to a record low against the US dollar, with rising oil prices placing significant pressure on the currency's value.
The USD/PHP exchange rate climbed 0.3% to 61.985 at one point, surpassing the previous all-time high of 61.85 recorded in late July.
