Boustead Singapore Limited (F9D) announced on Sep, 18 2026 that one of its overseas business units recently experienced a cybersecurity incident.
According to the company, the unit immediately activated business-continuity procedures, engaged external cyber-incident response specialists, legal advisers and restoration providers, and shut down and isolated affected systems. Critical systems and business data have since been fully recovered from backups, and the incident did not materially disrupt the unit’s operations.
The company added that the incident was confined to the single business unit, with no significant or material impact on the wider Group’s operations. Relevant notifications have been made to the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore and to authorities in the affected jurisdictions.
Boustead Singapore said it will carry out an independent cybersecurity review to identify additional measures to enhance its cybersecurity programme and strengthen system resilience.
