On the news front, according to CCTV News, reporters learned on October 23 that the State Administration for Market Regulation has comprehensively upgraded the CCC certification implementation rules this year. New CCC certification regulations for three product categories — electric bicycles, toys, and children's vehicles — will take effect on November 1. The new CCC certification rules for electric bicycles require strict implementation of the "one vehicle, one battery, one charger, one code" system.
Orient Securities pointed out that since October, regulatory authorities have carried out a nationwide certification overhaul of the electric bicycle industry. The short-term disruption is concentrated in the electric bicycle category, with October shipments being the most significantly affected, and companies with a higher proportion of electric bicycle business being more impacted. Considering that Q4 is a traditional off-season and the same period last year had a low base, the impact on the full year is expected to be limited.
