Peking University Third Hospital Qinhuangdao Hospital has issued a relocation announcement. To accelerate the construction of the national regional medical center and further enhance medical service capabilities and standards, the hospital will relocate to a new campus in three phases starting May 2026. The move aims to provide a superior environment, advanced equipment, and high-quality services to better safeguard public health and safety.
The new campus is located at No. 399 Ninghai Avenue, Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone (east of Daihe Ecological Park).
The relocation schedule is as follows: 1. The first batch of departments to relocate includes the Second Cardiovascular Medicine Ward, Second Neurology Ward, Neurovascular Intervention Department, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Rheumatology and Immunology, Nephrology, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Dermatology, Psychology, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Endoscopy Center, Interventional Operating Room (DSA), Operating Room, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Clinical Nutrition. These clinical departments will stop admitting new inpatients from 7:30 AM on May 22, 2026. Patients requiring hospitalization will be placed on a pre-admission system, with formal admission processed at the new campus post-relocation. Services at the Military Industry Campus will cease from 7:30 AM on May 28, 2026, with relocation to the new campus. Inpatient wards for these departments will open at 8:00 AM on May 30, 2026, officially accepting new patients.

The second batch includes the First Cardiovascular Medicine Ward, First Neurology Ward, Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Oncology, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology (including Lithotripsy Center), Sports Medicine (Joint Surgery), Neurosurgery, Pain Management, Thoracic Surgery, Second Rehabilitation Medicine Ward, Emergency Department, Pathology, Central Sterile Supply Department, Hemodialysis Room, and Stomatology. These departments will stop admitting new inpatients from 7:30 AM on May 25, 2026, with a pre-admission system in place. Services at the Military Industry Campus will stop from 7:30 AM on June 1, 2026, followed by relocation. Their inpatient wards will open at 8:00 AM on June 3, 2026.
3. The third batch comprises Geriatrics, part of General Surgery (remaining section), part of the Intensive Care Unit (remaining section), part of the Operating Room (remaining section), First Rehabilitation Medicine Ward, Medical Imaging, Ultrasound, Laboratory, Functional Examination, and Pharmacy. These departments will stop admitting new inpatients from 7:30 AM on May 25, 2026. Services at the Military Industry Campus will cease from 7:30 AM on June 6, 2026, with relocation to the new campus, where inpatient wards will subsequently open.
Special Notes: Outpatient services will operate normally at the new campus during the relocation period. Emergency services at the Military Industry Campus will stop from 7:30 AM on June 1, 2026. Formal emergency services at the new campus will commence at 8:00 AM on June 3, 2026.
Transportation Routes: 1. To facilitate patient access, the hospital will launch two "Peking University Third Hospital Qinhuangdao Hospital Health Express" shuttle routes starting May 28. The first route runs directly from the Military Industry Campus outpatient building to the new campus with no intermediate stops, departing at 7:30 AM daily with a return trip at 11:00 AM. The second route runs directly from Qinhuang Peninsula to the new campus, departing from the south gate of Zicheng · Qinhuang Peninsula (Shandongpu Road, Haigang District) at 7:30 AM and 8:40 AM daily, with a return trip at 11:00 AM. 2. Public bus routes 45, T1, and T2 are available; alight at the "Peking University Third Hospital Qinhuangdao Hospital Ninghai Campus" stop.
