FINGERTANGO Posts First-Half Loss as Revenue Declines

Stock News08-29 00:24

FINGERTANGO (06860) has announced its interim results for the first half of 2026, reporting a loss attributable to shareholders of approximately RMB 30.4 million, a sharp turnaround from the profit recorded a year earlier.

The company posted revenue of approximately RMB 168 million, down 20.6% year-on-year, while gross profit fell 34% to RMB 76.6 million. The swing into the red was primarily driven by the natural decline in contributions from existing games that have been operating for several years and have now entered the mature stage of their lifecycles, the company explained in its filing.

The deterioration in profitability was also attributed to a reduction in other income, gains, and losses, which dropped from approximately RMB 7.6 million to RMB 0.9 million. These adverse factors were partially offset by a decrease in selling and marketing expenses, which fell from around RMB 53.3 million to RMB 46.8 million, alongside the recognition of an income tax credit of approximately RMB 5.1 million, compared with an income tax expense of RMB 1.1 million in the prior corresponding period.
