A new development has emerged in the securities misrepresentation case brought by investors against Jiangsu Baoxin Technology Co., Ltd. (stock code: 002514, securities abbreviations: Baoxin Technology, *ST Baoxin (rights protection)).
Lawyer Li Jian of Zhejiang Yufeng Law Firm, who has previously represented investors in winning compensation from over 150 listed companies, stated that according to the filing announcement, Baoxin Technology is suspected of securities misrepresentation. This week, we have again represented a number of shareholders in submitting litigation materials to the court.
Case background: On the evening of January 30, 2026, Baoxin Technology issued an announcement regarding the receipt of a case filing notice from the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Because the company and its actual controller, Mr. Ma Wei, are suspected of information disclosure violations, the CSRC decided to open a case against the company and its actual controller Mr. Ma Wei in accordance with the Securities Law of the People's Republic of China, the Administrative Penalty Law of the People's Republic of China, and other relevant laws and regulations.
According to the Supreme People's Court's judicial interpretation on misrepresentation, where listed companies, actual controllers, and others cause losses to investor rights and interests through securities misrepresentation, investors may file lawsuits to claim compensation in accordance with the law. The scope of compensation includes investment differential losses, commission losses, and stamp tax losses.
"The judicial interpretation has eliminated the precondition procedure. Based on preliminary evidence such as the filing announcement, investors may also file lawsuits to claim compensation," said Lawyer Li Jian. According to the judicial interpretation, it is tentatively determined that investors who suffered losses and still held Baoxin Technology shares as of the close of trading on January 30, 2026, may claim compensation in accordance with the law. The compensation conditions will be further adjusted based on the CSRC's investigation conclusions and will ultimately be subject to the court's determination.
To claim compensation, investors need to provide a securities account opening information inquiry form, stock account statements (from the date of first purchase of the stock to the present), contact information, and other materials.
