Data analytics software firm Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) has entered into a multi-faceted strategic collaboration with Google Cloud. Its software will be officially listed on the Google Cloud Marketplace and achieve deep integration with the BigQuery data platform and the Gemini AI model. This move is expected to help Palantir attract more enterprise clients already utilizing Google Cloud services.

Under the agreement, the two companies will build several core integration capabilities. The first is a two-way data federation between BigQuery and Palantir Foundry, expanding upon existing zero-copy virtual table integration. The second is a two-way semantic exchange between Google's Knowledge Catalog and the Foundry Ontology. These integrations are designed to help enterprises using both BigQuery and Foundry enhance their next-generation operational efficiency.

In the AI domain, Google's Gemini will be deeply interconnected with Palantir's Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), enabling customers to connect advanced models to their critical AI workflows and operations. A Google Cloud executive stated, "By combining BigQuery and Gemini with Palantir's Foundry and AIP, we are providing our joint customers with a secure, unified foundation to run their most complex, highest-risk workflows at scale."

Industrial giant Eaton is an early adopter of this integrated solution. The company has combined Palantir Foundry, AIP, Ontology, and Google Gemini to transform engineering documents into intelligent operational assets. This has resulted in faster quote generation, higher engineering precision, reduced labor intensity, and improved customer responsiveness.

A senior Palantir architect noted, "Our customers have a clear need—they need a holistic architecture. This partnership brings together years of customer investment in Google Knowledge Catalog, BigQuery, and cloud storage with the operational power of Foundry and AIP, enabling them to fully unleash the potential of Gemini while using an Ontology-based AI strategy."

This announcement is one of several partnerships unveiled by Palantir at its annual AIPCon event. On the same day, the company also signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar agreement with construction firm McCarthy Building Companies, an enterprise expansion agreement with Mexico's largest insurer GNP Seguros, and confirmed a partnership with law firm Kirkland & Ellis. As of Thursday's midday trading, Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) shares were up over 2%, trading at $145.44.
