Paijitang Listed on Consumer Complaint Platform's 2025 Secondhand Marketplace Blacklist: Headphones Reported Normal in Quality Check But Actually Faulty

Deep News03-13

As the annual International Consumer Rights Day approaches, to boost consumer confidence, promote collaborative governance in consumer rights protection, and create a safer and more reliable consumption environment, Sina Finance and the consumer complaint platform Hei Mao have launched a 2026 3·15 consumer rights protection campaign.

Recently, the consumer complaint platform Hei Mao released its 2025 red and blacklist rankings for secondhand trading platforms. Paijitang was placed on the blacklist due to a response rate of less than 20% to complaints. Data from the Hei Mao platform indicates that the reliability of Paijitang's "official quality inspection," the fairness of its after-sales rules, and its platform fulfillment capabilities are facing significant challenges.

Many consumers reported that they placed orders based on trust in the platform's quality inspection but ended up in a predicament where the "report did not match the actual product, and there was no recourse for after-sales rights protection."

Hei Mao advises that the overall risk is relatively high and recommends consumers remain highly cautious when trading on Paijitang. The core principle is: do not blindly trust quality inspection reports; rely solely on evidence. When receiving goods, consumers must record a complete unboxing video and conduct comprehensive functional tests. If a dispute arises, they should not limit communication to the platform's customer service but should immediately submit detailed evidence (order number, chat records, video links) on the Hei Mao complaint platform to leverage collective action and pressure the platform for a fair resolution. For higher-value items, priority should be given to official self-operated channels or offline stores that offer physical product inspection services.
