Arbor Realty Trust's stock plummeted 5.14% during pre-market trading on Friday, following the release of its first-quarter 2026 financial results.
The sharp decline appears to be driven by the company's significant earnings miss. Arbor Realty reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.07 per share, which fell short of the analyst consensus estimate of $0.12 by 41.67%. This represents a substantial 77.42% decrease compared to earnings of $0.31 per share from the same period last year.
While the company's quarterly sales of $59.845 million exceeded estimates by 12.22%, this still marked a 20.67% year-over-year decline. The company also declared a quarterly dividend of $0.17 per share alongside its earnings release.
