CHIHO ENV (00976) Issues Legal Writ

Stock News07-07

The company, CHIHO ENV (00976), has announced that on July 7, 2026, it (as the plaintiff) filed a writ of summons with the High Court of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The action is directed against parties including, but not limited to, receivers and companies under the group's control managed by these receivers.

The company is seeking several declarations and orders from the court. These include a declaration that the appointment of the receivers and managers over all issued shares of CRIH, CRD, and CTRL is invalid and should be set aside. Furthermore, it seeks a declaration that all actions taken by the receivers while claiming to act in the capacity of receiver, manager, and director of the entire issued share capital of CRD, CRIH, and CTRL are invalid and should also be set aside.

Additionally, the company is applying for an injunction to prohibit the receivers from taking any actions. This includes exercising any powers granted to them as receivers or managers under financing agreements, share mortgages, or other financing documents. The injunction would also prevent them from representing or claiming to the public or any third party that they are the receivers, managers, and directors of CRIH, CRD, and CTRL.

CHIHO ENV has stated that it will continue to seek legal advice on this matter and will issue further announcements in accordance with the listing rules at the appropriate time. The company's shares remain suspended from trading.
